Stanley Loo trained in plastic surgery across Auckland, Hamilton and Wellington before completing postgraduate fellowships in New Zealand, Malaysia, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan in burns, cleft lip and palate surgery, microsurgery, microtia surgery and Asian cosmetic surgery.
Returning to New Zealand in 2008, Stanley was appointed a consultant plastic surgeon at Middlemore Hospital, with subspecialty interests in cleft lip and palate, microvascular and microtia surgery. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the Department of Surgery at the University of Auckland.
Outside of work, Stanley enjoys skiing, squash and cycling, and spending time with his young family.
